This bachelor‘s thesis deals with the analysis of selected indicators of the company ČSOB, a.s. The first part of this thesis clarifies theoretical resources of time series and regression analysis. The second part of this thesis is focused on the analysis of selected indicators using the knowledge from the first part. If it is possible, data will be aligned by regression function and forecast for the future will be made.
Strategic analysis of ČSOB

The Master´s thesis deals with the processing of strategic analysis for the bank ČSOB. Chapters are divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part describes various findings relating to the strategy, strategic management, strategic analysis and implementation of basic concepts, which are then practically developed in chapters of the practical part. A strategic analysis of ČSOB was performed in this section, especially on the basis of their internal materials and annual reports and recommendations and conclusions for development, marketing and sales activities SBU1 retail and corporate banking, were formulated.
Analysis of the Communication strategy of ČSOB, a.s.

This thesis deals with the banking market and it is focused on the account in the Czech Republic. The aim is to assess the impacts of the chosen communication strategy on the target group in connection with the launching of new products. The first part focuses on selected theories. The second part deals with the Bank itself and analyzes the current communication strategy. The last part research examines the effectiveness of communication campaign and the impact of the new strategy on changes of consumer perceptions and decisions. Besides the data gained from the primary research, there were a lot of secondary data such as an internal company data and data from the research of MML-TGI or data from Nielsen Admosphere that were used also as well.
Motivation and evaluation of empolyees

My bachelor thesis is focused on motivation and assessment of employees in the company. The aim of this thesis is to investigate the influence of team building and benefits on employees' motivation. Literature based theoretical part of my thesis describes and investigates the real meaning and purpose of motivation and basic motivational concepts. Furthermore, I outlined the basics behind employee benefits, team building and also stated the current given trends in these areas. The practical part is focused on benefit and workplace research and their impact on the general motivation to work and the relations between the employees of the Czechoslovak Commercial Bank (ČSOB). In order to collect the best results, I used the method of questionnaires. Respondents were asked to answer questions considering their satisfaction with the system of employee benefits and the importance of teamwork. Based on the survey results I propose certain changes that should lead to motivation improvement and better job performance.
Applying of marketing tools in the ČSOB

The thesis tackles event marketing in greater detail as a communication tool with yet increasing importance for reaching new clients and building customer relations. People are nowadays searching for emotions and experience which is precisely what event marketing offers. The way of use of this marketing tool by ČSOB brands is described in this thesis.

Comparison of Air Bank's and ČSOB's Marketing Communication

After 2010, several low-cost banks were founded in the Czech Republic. Thanks to their strategy and customer approach, these banks considerably differed from traditional banks established on the Czech market in the 1990s. Especially in large cities, the new banks quickly gained popularity and started stealing clients from the traditional banks, which have thus seen a severe loss of clients. This diploma thesis compares one new and one traditional bank - Air Bank and ČSOB. It explores the differences in their marketing communication and surveys clients to see what makes people leave ČSOB and join Air Bank. Based on the data collected, the thesis gives a set of recommendations for both banks to improve their situation in the future.
Corporate Social Responsibility in ČSOB

The aim of this work is to approximate concept of Corporate Social Responsibility. The work is divided into two parts. First part focuses on general introduction into problematics of Corporate Social Responsibility, its influence on individuals, demarcation of activities and their contribution to the company, which decided to implement area of Social Responsibility to their strategy. Marginally shows main points which supported establishment of Corporate Social Responsibility. Second part focuses on practical use of Corporate Social Responsibility on real subject-Czechoslovak Trade Bank (ČSOB). It presents activities and projects in which ČSOB takes part or those which itself laid. The conclusion contains evaluation of current activities and possible recommendations for future progress in area of Social Responsibility.
Utilization of Unica Campaign tool for direct marketing at ČSOB

This bachelor thesis is focused on direct marketing communications at ČSOB company with using of the tool for direct marketing Unica Campaign by IBM company. This marketing tool has never been described in any academic thesis. The main objective of this thesis is to create an introduction to this area. The theoretical part introduces the readers to the basic terms associated with direct marketing, the ČSOB company, and its direct marketing communications. The theoretical part presents Unica Campaign tool. The practical part contents model example of marketing campaign and it shows how to do data preparation of marketing campaign with using of Unica Campaign.
